Hello, my passion is teaching, especially… little children. I am a very active and enthusiastic person. I was born in Mexico city. Since I was five years old I wanted to be a teacher and I feel extremely happy to be one. I studied to be a kindergarten teacher. I have a Master´s Degree in Educational Sciences. I have been teaching for 32 years.

I have developed an understanding of the different learning styles and a realization of how important it is to include creativity and innovation while teaching in order to make learning fun! Learning must be fun so students are engaged and motivated to learn.  I strive to have a lot of hands on activities and learning games daily to spark my student’s interest.

My mission as the Spanish Immersion Kindergarten Teacher at West Buncombe Elementary School is to combine my experience and culture with my skills and abilities to make the best positive contribution to my kindergarten students, their families and to all the school community.

Some of my personal interests are: spending time with my family, doing sports like: swimming, biking, tennis and volleyball.  And I love reading.
