First Grade: April 22-28

Wonderful First Graders

Since our school work at home started, you have...

been studying all about soil, mud, and rocks.

              ๐ŸŒŸ   I'm SO PROUD of you! ๐ŸŒŸ

Today please click on the EARTH  picture below to hear and see a wonderful story about going on a walk outside.

The Listening Walk

by Paul Showers

please GO OUTSIDE with a grown up!
Go on a walk (minding social distancing) and
As you walk, or when you get back, write down things that you hear.  Or, if you'd rather, you can make a little video of yourself telling about the sounds that you hear.

Think  about what those sounds can tell you about what's around you in the world where you live.
What sounds surprised you?
What sound was your favorite sound?
Why did you like that sound so much?

If you can, send me a little of your work so that I can see how wonderful your walk was.

Thank You!!!
Mrs. Evans
In the subject line please tell me your
