Need to Know Information!

Your child will have a “homework folder”. This will be sent home every day.  The homework folder is also a way of communication between home and school; notes, lunch money, permission slips etc. need to be placed in the homework folder.  I will send things home for parents to read/sign in the homework folder. Please have students return the folder each morning.  Classwork will be sent home when completed.

Please look for newsletters weekly on Mondays in the “Homework Folder”.

We will have in the afternoon around 1:00.  Please send in a healthy snack with your child each day.  Students may keep a water bottle on their desk during the school day.  If you would like to contribute extra snacks for our classroom, (just in case someone forgets) please feel free to do so!

Remember to bring $2.15 for lunch or bring in a lunch box.  Please fill out the free and reduced form for lunch this school year to see you if you qualify.

You are welcome to send in cupcakes, cookies, doughnuts, etc. for your child’s birthday.

If your child is absent, please send in a note or a Dr. Note to excuse the absence.

Please let me know of any transportation changes by sending in a note.

Class/School Rules

  1. Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be Prepared

I use Class Dojo for classroom behavior monitoring. It is an online system that parents can access on their phone or tablet to monitor their child’s behavior at school.  I will send home a form about Class Dojo for you to access.  Each student has a character with their name.  It is based upon a point system.  Students can earn or loose points.  When a student breaks a rule a point is taken away, good behavior and other positive actions receive a point.  Rewards are earned in 10 point increments that your child can cash in for prizes or rewards in the classroom.
