Soaring Eagles
SOAR behaviors
 Safe, Optimistic, Accountable, and Respectful
We recognize students for exhibiting academic growth, quality character and following SOARing behaviors.

Students receive Soaring Eagle tickets from teachers and staff for following the SOAR behaviors.  Tickets can be placed in a bucket in the office and names are drawn and announced weekly for recognition.  Students receive a prize if their name is drawn.  Or, students can save their tickets to spend at the PBIS store which is held on PBIS reward days 4 times a year.

Also, four times a year, we have Soaring Eagle assemblies, recognizing one student from each homeroom as the class Soaring Eagle.  Parents are invited to attend the assembly.  We like to keep the names secret until the teacher recognizes them during the assembly.  Students receive a special certificate and an eagle medallion to wear.

Meet Erwin the Eagle!  He flies around West Buncombe to visit classrooms where there are tons of Soaring Eagle students or classrooms with Perfect Attendance.  Ask your child if they have seen Erwin around.
